Any sensible person starting up their own business, whatever their niche, needs to create a workable business plan. The one area that stumps many people is determining exactly what kind of insurance they need and where to find it at a reasonable cost.
If you are a one man (or woman) concern you may not think you need any insurance at all. Unfortunately, in this day and age that is far from the case. What would you do if your premises were broke into and your computer, possibly the lifeblood of your company, was damaged or stolen? Even if you work out of your own home your regular homeowners insurance might not cover the loss.
Then there is the question of health and disability insurance. You may have been well covered in both areas when you still worked for an employer but now that you are your own boss how would you manage if you were to become ill or injured and what would happen to your business while you recovered? Travel insurance is usually offered to you as a routine part of booking your trip or vacation package. This is true whether you are booking it through a customer service representative at an airline or through an agency.
Your Credit Card is A Source of Coverage
Many credit card companies also offer free Travel insurance as part of their services. You should check to make sure what your card covers before you purchase additional insurance from an airline or agent.
Credit cards offer this type of insurance as a privilege for using their card. A good Travel insurance policy should cover the basics such as lost luggage, medical and hospital expenses and the cost of a cancelled flight. Many of the credit cards will even cover the price of putting you up in a hotel if you are stranded at an airport because of a storm or other last minute catastrophe. Affordable car insurance, lowest rate and best service coupled with qualitative output by insurance companies are always the package the clients are in search of. If this package is available without trimming the numbers of coverage offered, then clients have no better option but to avail that service.
The coverage schemes that are an indispensable part of car insurance are damages caused due to some explosion or outbreak of fire, theft or burglary, accident, third party liability, malicious damage, vandalism. If cars get damaged due to all these factors, clients get the compensation immediately after making claims for it. However, if the cars get damaged due to storm or from terrorist attack or due to flood, clients does not get any compensation, unless and until the client possess the special coverage scheme. Affordable car insurance is always the best option for any car holders because that gives little pressure on their pockets.

In all medical practices physicians want to receive payment from the insurance companies, but rejections are not a bad thing, they can give you information that is to your benefit.
In the medical office most physicians, directors, and office managers do not like rejections. They feel that something is wrong with the biller, this is not always the case.
Truth be told there are many reasons that a claim could be rejected—previously paid, patients has other insurance, wrong procedure code, the claim needs a modifier, patient information does not match. These are just a few out of may more out there.
Rejections are not a bad thing if they are worked immediately by your biller. A rejection 95% of the time can be re-worked, sent back to the insurance company and you will be paid. If the rejection states that the patient does not have that insurance—that is also not a terrible problem since those charges then need to be transferred to the patient and if that patient gave you the wrong information, then that patient wil contact you immediately because most patients’ do not want a bill hanging over their head. Your account receivable report is the key to where your money is, if you are not seeing the return that you expect should be coming into your office. One of the best ways to see if your account receivable report is in the best condition that it should be in is possibly having it sent out so that an outside billing service can give you an opinion on what is wrong and what can be done to correct the problem.
We all know that you should be receiving the maximum amount of money for your services and that since just about every insurance can go electronically then your account receivable report should not be over 60 days unless there is a problem with the patient’s insurance or if you did have to send a claim out as hard copy. If you see a great deal of monies past the 60 day mark then you have a problem with your billing department.
I am not saying that your biller is not doing her/his job correctly, but there are some instances that your medical biller might not be able to see the problem as an outside billing service would be able to see. You cannot be afraid to ask your biller questions regarding the report. She/he should be able to answer all of your questions and if not then that is when I would look into having an outside source check out your report. You have probably heard by now that the required switch to using ICD-10 has been delayed by a few years. You can breathe a little easier for now, but have you begun to consider how your office will implement the changes? And what do these changes mean to you anyway?
A little background…as you know, insurance companies do not pay for “tension headaches” and “15 minute office visits for an established patient” – insurance companies pay for medical diagnosis codes like 307.81 and procedure CPT codes such as 99213. Diagnosis codes, CPT and HCPCS codes all describe patient complaints, illness, procedures and supplies for a submitted claim. The ICD-9 codes currently in use were adopted in the 1960s by the U.S. Since then there have been many advances in healthcare. Under the current coding system, the room to expand is limited. By adding codes under the new system, there will be room to expand and be more specific in reporting.
How much so? Think there are a lot of codes now? Try 68,000 diagnoses codes, up from 13,000 now. For procedure codes (CPT) we go from 3000 codes now to 87,000 codes! What is more, ICD-9 codes will go from up to 5 digits (ex. 307.81) to up to 7. Continue reading ‘Medical Coding Services and Physicians – What Impact Will the Switch to ICD-10 Have on You?’ »

You and your beloved have at last purchased an excellent engagement ring. It is precious and your jeweler has suggested you to buy a policy of engagement ring insurance. Expectantly your beloved is not an all-time careless. But she may not always remain cautious regarding the ring in her finger. She is a physician.
She may take out the ring from her finger and keep it somewhere and just fail to remember where she has left it. This thought may make you sick. Please be cool as you may secure insurance required for the ring of your partner and this will ensure protection for the investment.
What is the working process of insurance?
Engagement ring insurance as simple as home insurance. Details of ring insurance may be included in the policy of home insurance. As you will keep or wear the ring within your home the policy for home insurance will be costlier. Just after your post-engagement shifting you should transfer the policy to the new home from the old one. It has been registered there. Total expense of the ring will not be covered by home insurance policy in case you miss it or in case it is stolen. Best choice is to try for a replacement insurance for engagement ring because this policy ensures to refund the money for a fresh ring which is just same as the earlier ring but by the present value of the market. There are 3 kinds of iPhone models available today, not including those differentiated only by flash drive size, and two of them are currently on the market. Also, there is a few different iPod touch versions available as well. All in all, there are tens of millions of these touch screen gizmos in the pockets of people in the United States, Canada, and all over the world. The vast majority of iPhone owners download at least a few apps now and then. Today though however, some of them are left asking whether or not they still have access to the best of the best apps.
The new iPhone, after all, is sprinkled with several new features. That means 3GS owners can do things that 3G owners can’t. 3G owners, in the same way, have capabilities that original iPhone owners don’t. Does this mean that the best of the app store is only available to people with the better features? Let’s take a closer look after we take a quick peek at the cost of the 3 different model iPhones.
The original iPhone was relatively expensive for a phone, what made thing worse for users in the USA was the lack of availability of iPhone insurance products, as Apple wanted customers to take out icare products, so stopped the network carriers from offering i phone insurance. The 3G came along at a slightly higher price and became a big hit as people wanted the faster web connection offered by the 3G model. The real price hike came with the launch of the 3GS iPhone, in the UK, the 3GS purchase price jumped up to around $700 for the 32 GB model. Luckily, the iPhone insurance market is strong, allowing UK customers to take out stand alone insurance without the apple icover.
