What would happen to the money spent on a vacation for you and your family if you had a family emergency? I had to deal with that scenario when my grandmother passed away. I booked a vacation for my family to go to Orlando, Florida for six day. I booked the flight, rental car, and hotel with a very popular online company. The total cost of the trip was two thousand six hundred dollars. I was offered travel cover before I finalized my trip but I declined. I did not read the fine print about travel covers and how I would be protected if I was unable to take my family on vacation.

Once I found out my grandmother passed away, I called the company to change my reservations. I was able to change my hotel and rental car reservation with no problems. Unfortunately, I was unable to change my flights or get my money back. I was unable to get a credit for the flights to use in the future. I was instructed by the travel agent that if I would have purchased the travel insurance, I would be able to get my money back for the flight. What is Annual Travel insurance?

For those individuals who travel overseas frequently, there exists a type of c that covers an entire year period. This is often referred to as frequent flyer, multi trip or annual travel insurance. Generally an annual travel cover policy will include both business and holiday trips.
